The 2026 Annual General Meeting was held at the cooperative head office on Plot 1/3 Bank Lane, Gulu City. Three hundred and twelve paid-up members were present, with a further forty-one farmer groups represented by their elected delegates.
The Chair, Achac Robert Okok, opened the meeting at 9:30 am with the standing prayer led by the Vice-Chairperson. The Manager presented audited accounts for the year ending December 2025, prepared by an external auditor in line with the Co-operative Societies Act.
Three motions were carried by a clear majority:
- Dividend declaration. A 6.5% dividend on member savings was approved for paid-up members in good standing. Payouts begin from the second week of March via FlexiPay (USSD
*291#, merchant code239422) and Stanbic Bank account9030020097379. - Mechanization service plan, 2024–2028. Members approved the multi-year plan to scale the cooperative’s mechanization services across the four sub-regions, including the demonstration sites at Patiko and Lakang.
- Management Committee refresh. Three new committee positions were filled by member election: Treasurer, Vetting Committee Chair, and Loans Committee Secretary.
The meeting closed with a working lunch and an open Q&A with the secretariat. Members are encouraged to update their phone numbers with the office and to renew annual subscriptions before 31 March to remain in good standing for the 2026 dividend payouts.
